FAT LOVE
FAT LOVE
This project is a love letter to fatness—a celebration of fat bodies in the context of love, desire, freedom, and deep admiration. Too often, fatness is excluded from narratives of intimacy and connection, not because these stories don’t exist, but because they’ve been overlooked or ignored. Through this series, I aim to bring these relationships into focus:
Fat people who love themselves, embracing their bodies as they are, unapologetically claiming their desirability. Parents who hold space for their fat children with tenderness and pride. Friendships among fat folks, forged in mutual joy, care, and understanding.
This work is about challenging the erasure of fatness in stories of love and belonging. It’s about creating a visual language that speaks to the beauty of fat bodies and their undeniable place in the spectrum of human connection. These photographs are not just portraits—they are acts of reclamation, empowerment, and love.
